Oenogastronomy in the Province of Ravenna

The Province of Ravenna, thanks to its abundant agricultural production, a high-quality wine production and several popular traditions, is the ideal destination for the oenogastronomic tourism. Along the coasts, plains and hills, numerous are the products that own PGI, AC and PDO denominations (the Brisighella oil, the Romagna scallion, the Romagna nectarine peach, and many others), valorized by local companies and associations.

Among the opportunities of discovering traditional oenogastronomy, we find: la Strada dei vini e dei sapori (the Route of wines and flavours) of the Province of Ravenna, with many oenogastronomic routes located from the Apennines to the coast and Lower Romagna; the different oenogastronomic exhibitions proposing menus and traditional specialties throughout the year (Valleys and Pinewoods in Ravenna, Borgo Marina in Cervia, the Green Dish in the Lands of Faenza, etc.) thanks to the collaboration of companies and restaurants; several traditional festivals dedicated to the products that represent the territory (among which Sapore di Sale – Taste of salt, that dedicates a few days to activities related to the salt, or the "White Gold", of Cervia).
