Art in Forlì-Cesena
An appointment with art and culture
The Province of Forlì-Cesena offers many ideas for holidays filled with art and culture, starting from the interesting programmes offered by the many theatres in the area such as the Bonci Theatre in Cesena and the Diego Fabbri Theatre in Forlì, just to mention a few.
Many exhibitions and shows are organised during the year such as those at the San Domenico Museum in Forlì, at the Tito Balestra Foundation in Longiano and at the Galleria Ex Pescheria (former fish market gallery) and the Palazzo del Ridotto in Cesena.
A great number of events are organised in the province. Not to be missed the Backstage Film Festival and the CliCiak competition for movie still photographers held in Cesena in spring.
Autumn offers a great number of events starting from the SiFest in Savignano sul Rubicone, three days of images and photos, famous people and events. In September there is also the Sedicicorto festival in Forlì, an international short film festival.
In October and November there is the Premio Campigna, an important national exhibition of paintings and contemporary art which is held every year at the Galleria Vero Stoppioni in Santa Sofia.
